Richard Galbraith LLB
Managing Director
Richard Galbraith has been involved in the legal profession since 1990 either as a Salaried Lawyer, Partner, Director, Sole Practitioner or Legal Software Entrepreneur. Prior to the developments of KeyTrack's conveyancing software and the online directory, Conveyancing.co.nz, Richard owned and managed Galbraiths, a law firm that today still acts for many Howick and Pakuranga residents. Richard sold Galbraiths in 2006 to focus on his internet ventures and re-entered the profession with KeyTrack still in his ownership in 2011. In 2018 Richard sold the majority shareholding of KeyTrack and Online Conveyancing however remains as the Founding Director and Shareholder in both companies. Richard manages the firm to ensure that quality legal services are provided by his team in a timely fashion. Leanne Swan (nee Burke) LLB/BSocSc
Senior Solicitor
Leanne grew up in Northland. She qualified from Waikato University with both Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Social Sciences degrees and was admitted to the NZ Bar as a barrister and solicitor in 2004. Leanne initially worked for a small law firm on the Auckland city fringe. She then had 10 years working in a mid-sized law firm in the Auckland CBD where she gained valuable experience in the area of General Practice including conveyancing, property, commercial, trusts, estates and elder law. Leanne is very friendly, personable and very client focused. It is important to her that the clients know they can rely on her to look after their interests. She firmly believes that it is essential to get to know clients well so that you can provide the best possible service for their specific sets of circumstances. Parneel Nair LLB.BCom
Senior Solicitor
Parneel qualified from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Management and International Business and went on to complete his Bachelor of Laws degree at Waikato University. Parneel started his career working in a local law firm in Manukau for a few years and following this he joined a law firm in Newton where he gained invaluable experience and guidance from a very experienced practitioner. Parneel has experience in conveyancing, property law, commercial law including business sales and purchases, estates law and general practice. Parneel is friendly, straightforward and personable. He places a great emphasis on providing his clients with great legal advice while remaining pragmatic in his approach. Outside of work Parneel enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Alison Walmsley LLB/BA
Senior Solicitor
Alison graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Laws. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts at Massey University. She has worked for a number of small to medium sized legal firms, including working for us previously, and is therefore a very experienced general practice solicitor. Alison is a warm, friendly person who is very client focused. She lives locally and in her spare time enjoys cycling. It is with pleasure that we welcome Alison back as part of our team. Rachel Tan LLB(Hons)/BCom
Senior Solicitor
Rachel graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting). Rachel started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving on to become a Prosecutor for the New Zealand Police. Following this, she joined a boutique law firm in the Auckland CBD specialising in trusts. Rachel has experience in trusts, wills, relationship property, charities, enduring powers of attorney, litigation, and superannuation / workplace savings schemes. Rachel is affable and client focused. She believes in understanding her clients well in order to provide good legal advice that is tailored to suit each client’s unique circumstances. Rachel has been a Howick local since moving with her family to New Zealand from Singapore in 1999, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Toni Beazley-Field NZILE Fellow
Registered Legal Executive
Toni is a Registered Legal Executive. She joined Fencible Law from Botany Law. Prior to that she had worked for 10 years as a Legal Executive for the late David Thwaite. Toni has had 18 years experience in local firms and has a vast range of Property Law skills. She has a cheerful, can do attitude and goes to great lengths to ensure that her clients are provided with great legal services. Toni works closely with Richard Galbraith, as well as maintaining and growing her existing client base. Toni is on Maternity Leave until February 2020. Kim Galbraith BCom
Practice Manager / Accountant
Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University. She worked for 15 years as a Chartered Accountant for a firm based in Ponsonby before starting a family. As their children grew, Kim joined Richard at Galbraiths Lawyers where she worked for 10 years as the accountant and practice manager. Lisa Allen
Legal Secretary
Lisa initially joined our firm as our Receptionist / Legal Secretary. In 2018 Lisa’s role changed from that of receptionist to being a full secretarial role and the Personal Assistant to two authors. She has had a lot of experience dealing with clients due to being in similar roles, for both legal firms and other service companies, since leaving school. Anagh Driscoll
Legal Secretary / Receptionist
Anagh lives locally with her family. She grew up in Howick and attended Howick College. She joins us straight out of school. Within our team Anagh has a very busy role as receptionist, legal secretary and Personal Assistant to Richard. She is warm, welcoming, friendly and very personable.
